If you can play it on your VCR or camcorder, you can edit it into a digital movie on your PC with Videonics' Video ToolKit 3.0. The kit consists of editing software and hardware, and cables to connect up to seven VCR and camcorder devices to your PC. The software lets you build an on-screen edit decision list (EDL) in a text or timeline format, and rearrange clips by dragging and dropping them on the timeline. Video ToolKit automatically assembles the final production, and you can export the EDL to CMX, text format or HTML pages. When you export to HTML, the program creates a linked storyboard of your clip information. Use GPI-triggered video equipment to add effects and titles.
