Cary Prague's User Interface Construction Kit for Microsoft Access versions 2.0, 95 and 97 bundles a good-to-excellent selection of forms, code components and routines that can be reused easily. The kit includes progress bars and a drill-down geographic database for the continental United States. Forms are multitabbed, and they morph according to data type. Creating interfaces is straightforward. Twenty sample databases contain different toolsets, each with fully documented code and example forms. You can easily export and reuse the unlocked code and examples in another Access database. Lack of on-paper documentation is a disadvantage, but if you're comfortable with Access programming, you won't have problems. The product comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee and a licensing agreement that lets you reuse the components without owing royalties.
