How have computers affected artists' lives? It's given them more money but not necessarily more free time, according to a survey of 350 members of the Graphic Artists Guild. Of the artists surveyed, 59 percent said PCs have increased their income. But their clients apparently feel PC-created art isn't worth as much, and 40 percent of the artists reported working more hours to make up the difference. Copyright (c) 1997 CMP Media Inc.
