In the sidebar "Win95's Nashville Tune-Up" ("Do-It-Yourself Windows 97," February), you indicate that the public beta of IE 4 should be available for download at http://www.winmag.com/flanga/ie4. I did not see it at this site. Paul Jorgensen via the Internet Editor's reply: Originally, Microsoft promised a downloadable beta of IE 4 by the end of 1996; then January 1997. Well-surprise!-Microsoft is late. Please don't shoot the messenger: We're just as anxious for it as you are. Keep visiting the WinMag Web site, and you'll be among the first on the planet with a shot at it.
