The most obvious difference between the Canon PowerShot 350 and other digital-and film-cameras is its shape and size. The PowerShot 350 is smaller and more boxy than most cameras, which might make it easier to hold. It measures 3.75 by 3.5 by 2 inches and weighs 10.2 ounces without batteries. At $699, the PowerShot 350 is also $250 cheaper than Canon's previous digital camera, the PowerShot 600. The PowerShot 350's viewfinder is a 1.8-inch color LCD with adjustable viewing angles. It uses JPEG image compression and 24-bit color, and has a maximum resolution of 640x480 pixels. The camera comes with a 2MB removable Compact Flash memory card and holds 47 images in normal mode, 24 images in fine mode and 11 in super fine.
