Windows on the Web
This month, we spotlight the best of the Windows NT-related Web sites. http://www.microsoft.com/ntserver/ and http://www.microsoft.com/ntworkstation/ Microsoft's NT Server and Workstation pages are good starting points for NT resources. Check here for overviews of NT Server and IIS, FAQ files and other support information, development and planning advice for enterprises and office computing, free downloads and NT news. Beverly Hills Software's NT Resource Center is an extensive download center for a score of application categories. It also offers an ActiveX-enabled chat forum, a directory of consultants and the site's TechCenter-with information on NT, IIS, SQL Server and more. NT Internals specializes in Windows 95 and NT shareware and freeware utilities, as well as technical information for both operating systems. The site offers lots of helpful fixes, drivers and mini-programs, in addition to the source code, related links and highlights of the newest shareware and freeware additions. Articles on various topics are also available. Professionals who want to take advantage of the experiences of their peers should drop into the NT*Pro site. Scan the organization's archived newsletters, pick up tech tips and check out the directory of user groups and their meeting schedules. Windows Magazine's own NT page is chock-full of news, Q&As, and exclusive coverage and interviews by our industry experts. Check out our online news, analysis and product reviews-all focused on NT-related issues. Then take a look at the Web version of our monthly NT Enterprise Edition.
