Letters
(Readers air their views on browsers and pocket computers. Plus, letters continue to pour in about whether Microsoft is indeed a monopoly. Also, the pros and cons of pirated software are debated.) I don't see why people are making such a big deal about Netscape Communicator ("A New Breed of Browsers," March). There's really nothing new in Communicator; most of the parts are from older versions of Navigator. It's always had an HTML editor, e-mail client and news reader-they just weren't very good. Netscape's strength has always been its browser. All Communicator does is copy Microsoft's browser, which proves who is the leader of the pack. Internet Explorer, on the other hand, is something that's never been done before. Bryant Fong via the Internet
