When I read John Woram's articles on reformatting my hard drive to cure Windows 95 problems (Optimizing Windows, December 1996 and April 1997), I thought he was crazy! Then my one-year-old 120MHz Pentium system ground to a halt. The mouse crawled, and finally Microsoft Word wouldn't even load. I gathered up all of my original disks, backed up, said a prayer and booted from my emergency floppy. After reinstalling Windows 95 and only a few necessary programs, everything worked great. I even managed to solve some problems I didn't realize I had. I wish to apologize for doubting Mr. Woram. I have already told all my friends to consider following his advice. Ralph J.
