Synon's Obsydian for Windows NT/BackOffice takes the mystery out of building NT applications. The tool lets you reuse business objects and automatically generate code for scalable Microsoft BackOffice-compliant applications. Obsydian server apps are 32-bit Visual C++ applications that run as NT services. They install via Microsoft Systems Management Server, automatically generate middleware based on Microsoft's Remote Procedure Call and use NT Server's unified log-on capabilities to enforce security.
