New Products
Samsung means business with its new line of "b" series color monitors. Designed for business and corporate users, the 15-inch Samsung 500b and 17-inch 700b monitors offer flicker-free viewing with higher refresh rates and a redesigned Display Director for on-screen adjustments. The 500b has a 13.8-inch viewable area, weighs 29.9 pounds and measures 14.6 by 15.2 by 16.2 inches. The 700b has a viewable area of 15.7 inches, weighs 41.9 pounds and measures 16.7 by 16.7 by 17.6 inches. Both monitors use Invar shadow mask technology and offer a 0.28mm dot pitch with a maximum resolution of 1280x1024 at a 60Hz refresh rate. Recommended viewing for both units is 1024x768 at 85Hz. The one-button Display Director control system displays a pull-down menu and provides 13 functions for the 500b and 20 functions for the 700b.
