Watch your work come to life with the Alps Masterpiece MD-2300 color printer. The unit's 600x600dpi resolution in both text and graphics (1200x600dpi in black and white and gray scale) makes it ideal for business communicators, photographers, designers, graphic artists and hobbyists who want to print images with clarity, crispness and realism. Alps' continuous-tone technology renders photographic-quality images, while its dye-based inks go on dry. The media remains flat to prevent over-saturation or warping. In standard Print mode, the MD-2300 prints 2 pages per minute for monochrome text and 3ppm to 5ppm for color graphics. In Photographic Quality mode, the printer takes 4 to 5 minutes per page for 4-by-6-inch color images and 15 to 20 minutes per page for 8-by-10-inch color images. The automatic sheet feeder holds 20 photographic-quality sheets or 100 sheets of letter, A4, B5 or legal-size paper. The MD-2300 also prints 2-by-3-inch labels and 0.65-by-0.85-inch stickers. The printer measures 7.7 by 17.5 by 9.4 inches and bundles Adobe PhotoDeluxe and the Alps Image Library CD, which contains several high-resolution sample images. $749.
