Internet Explorer 3.0 is like a rude party guest who refuses to leave. If you use Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel to remove the browser, the Temporary Internet Files and History folders and their files remain, as does the Internet icon in Control Panel. While it's difficult to permanently remove the folders, you can at least save disk space by deleting the files within them.
