How much time should go by before a program need no longer be considered shareware? If it was written 10 years ago and the author's address is no longer valid (so you can't pay for the software), is it piracy to use it? Should version 2.0 be considered pirated if 6.0 is out? I understand the notion behind freeware and shareware. But sooner or later, a line must be drawn. David Brenneman via the Internet
