With an 8.5-by-11.7-inch scanning area, the OpticPro supports gray-scale and black-and-white images at resolutions of 600x600dpi (optical) and 9600x9600dpi (using software interpolation) The scanner includes OCR and image-editing software, as well as Plustek's Action Manager SCAN, FAX, OCR and COPY software. You can use the software to scan color photos into your computer and import them into your word processing documents. The OpticPro 9630P will use up to 14 watts while scanning and 2.5W when idle.
