Because of the default in the AutoCorrect feature, Word and Excel in Office 95 turn off the keyboard Caps Lock after you type in a few characters. To change that in Word, select Tools/ AutoCorrect and uncheck the "Correct accidental usage of caps lock key" check box. Unfortunately, there's no such fix for Excel short of holding down the Shift key.
