Few things are more scattered than employee information. But WorkWise-Employee
File 3.0 can gather consistently formatted details that formerly
resided on dog-eared paper, Post-it notes and cocktail napkins.
In WorkWise, each employee's file contains job classifications,
general data such as name, address and contacts, locations and
payroll information in a tabbed set of folders. You're also given
36 user-definable categories to add scanned photos or company-specific
data.
The program tracks assigned and accrued vacation time. One lack:
WorkWise doesn't offer a time card format. The program also includes
a corporate policy folder, where you can keep company data, organization
charts and the shorthand codes for issues such as attendance,
job performance or safety violations. Customize the positions
and job categories, and set expiration dates for information that
must be kept current for legal purposes. The Time-off Benefits
Wizard will help you adapt WorkWise's predefined policies to your
own.
Corporate Views provides spreadsheet-like reports of screen data.
WorkWise includes many predefined, customizable reports. Use its
Custom View Wizard to include specifically defined fields and
records. The program will work with Crystal Reports, although
it's not provided, to further customize your reports. You can
password-protect access to sections, fields, reports and graphs.
Although it would be helpful to see some identification of Workwise
icons, you should have no difficulty using this program.
