With Info Accelerator 4.0 the key word is integration. The contact manager runs within Microsoft Word, WordPerfect and Ami Pro, and the accounting packages Quicken, QuickBooks and Timeslips. A maintenance release due in August will link the Info Accelerator Phone Book to Netscape Navigator, America Online and CompuServe, with links to other applications planned for later this year. Enter an address and phone number once, and you can access it in any of the linked apps.

You access Info Accelerator from a pull-down menu on your word processor's toolbar. The menu lets you click on Phone Book, Calendar and To-Do Lists, or generate documents. The document options include Quick Letter, Quick Label, Quick Fax, Quick Mail Merge and Print Phone Book. The Phone Book is a relational database that uses Paradox file formats for doing searches.
